7-9PM Opening for Ball-Nogues‘ Yevrus installation at SCI-Arc
My friend Allison and I helped Ball-Nogues prep the inside of an empty Silver Lake kidney-shaped swimming pool for this project. I’ve got the Turtle Wax stains to prove it, too.Saturday
7AM Morning swim
11AM-5PM Opening day of Made in L.A. 2012, the first Los Angeles biennial.
This exhibition is the joint effort of UCLA’s Hammer Museum, LA><ART, and the Los Angeles Municipal Gallery, and includes multiple events all summer long at each of the venues.4-7PM Opening at TENOVERSIX of Alika Cooper’s WOMEN/works ON PAPER, curated by Yaoska Davila.
Sunday
10AM Picking out fresh produce at the Malibu Farmer’s Market
2PM- Bridal shower for my cousin’s fiancée in Orange County. I’m in charge of games!
