This morning I had some time to myself to take photos of the apartment where I live, as well as the local environs. I will photograph the apartment’s façade from further across the street next time, for a better view.

This is the door that opens onto the street. The number "11 bis" is different from the address for the building next door, "11". I haven't learnt what the "bis" means yet, but perhaps it refers to an outdated business address.
This is a view just to the right of the door. My room is one of those bottom windows. (Gutter dweller!!)

Facing the door, here's what you see when you look to the right. (The apartment faces north-east. The streets heads north-west in this direction.)
This is looking down the street to the left: le Parc Monseau. (There is also a convenient Metro stop at Monceau.)

The ceiling of the porte-cochère is really high!
Behind Door #2 are two options for entry: an elevator and a small set of stairs. Other residents also enter through this door. I believe there are 4 duplexes in the building.
This door opens on a level about a half-story above street level.This apartment (mine) is the first one you come upon.

This is where elegant 19th century "haute bourgeoise" neo-classical architecture gives way to… something quite unique!!
